Glorious Mission: A Chinese FPS video game that targets U.S. troops
Have you ever played a FPS before? Like Call of Duty or Battlefield?
This video game created by the Chinese called "Glorious Mission". But instead of hunting down terrorist like "Makarov" from Call of Duty and the Taliban, you fight U.S. troops.
The video (CCTV China in Chinese Language) shows killing American troops, defending positions from the U.S. troops, shooting down Helicopters from above, and destroying U.S. tanks.
The video also shows that the Chinese soldiers are playing the game. Maybe they are having fun killing American soldiers even it's not real. Hahaha
Ironically, the Chinese game is modeled after the US Army developed first-person shooter game “America’s Army”.
They are comparing the game from Call of Duty and Battlefield. But the game itself can't match the two games. Maybe the Chinese didn't heard of DirectX10 or DirectX11 after all.
The "China vs U.S." idea on Western video games is not new. There's a game called Operation Flashpoint and Battlefield 2 where U.S. and China fight each other. But others may consider this game as a "propaganda" because they say that this is the way to show the Chinese can fight the Americans with their might and arsenals.
