YAHOO NEWS: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/ml_iraq

Thousands of people gathered at Baghdad while the Iraqi government officials to weigh whether to keep U.S. troops in the country beyond the end of the year.

The protesters insist that the Americans should leave their country as soon as possible. British, American, and Israeli flags were painted on a pavement to be stomped by the marching protesters. While the Iraqi military helicopters patrol around the area and soldiers are stand by if needed.

The U.S. Government announced that the remaining 46,000 combat troops in Iraq are required to leave by Dec 31. But they reconsider this decision because of widespread instability in the country.

For me, it's better that the United States should keep it's troops and bases in the country and the Iraqi government should cooperate. After all, we don't want another Saddam Hussein.
