The North Korean Government will free a U.S. Citizen detained last November after a U.S. delegate expressed their regret.
The KCNA (Korean Central News Agency) sates that a American named Eddie Jun was arrested last November and accused of committing a "serious crime" against the country. Although they did not provide any more details about the arrest. But the South Korean government said that Eddie Jun has a business interest in North Korea but arrested because of spreading Christianity.
Robert King, a U.S. envoy for Human Rights in North Korea, expressed their "regret a incident on behalf of the U.S. government"
Arresting U.S. Citizens in North Korea is not new. Last 2009, American Journalist Euna Lee and Laura Ling was also arrested at Tumen River and they faced trial because of "illegal entry".
Hoping that this unlawful and unconditional "arrest" will be stopped soon. And the country will be united under a Democratic system.
